English work for students in Year 7 and 8 is currently being uploaded onto Literacy Planet, our online platform and will be available by tomorrow insha’Allah. If you have recently joined the school and do not have a Literacy Planet log in please email firstname.lastname@example.org and I will organise as soon as possible. Thank You.
Additionally students in Year 7 and 8 should read independently for 30 minutes per day from quality fiction. If you do not have access to enough material at home may I recommend the app BorrowBox Library – an online lending library. Arrangements for Years 9, 10 and 11 to follow.

English Year 10 – Students who are self isolating should re-read their set poems and annotate using the VISIT method. Students should re-read their set play An Inspector Calls. Further work to follow.
English Year 11 – Students who are self isolating should take this time to thoroughly revise and re-read ALL set Literature texts and poem in tandem with the relevant study packs already issued by the department. For Language study, students should revise their notes and activities in their yellow books and complete practice papers which are available on the AQA website, further work to follow.
